Goo Goo Dolls at United Center: Chicago Concert Guide

Goo Goo Dolls join Def Leppard and The Struts at the United Center in Chicago on March 25, 2027. This Concerts event in the Pop / rock category brings together three rock acts for an arena show. Ticketsrosemont.com provides event and ticket information for the performance.

Formed in Buffalo in 1986, Goo Goo Dolls grew from alternative-rock beginnings into one of pop rock's most recognizable bands. Singer and guitarist John Rzeznik and bassist and vocalist Robby Takac have guided a career spanning more than a dozen studio albums. Their 1998 release Dizzy Up the Girl delivered enduring hits including “Iris,” “Slide” and “Black Balloon”; “Name,” “Here Is Gone” and “Big Machine” are also key songs from the band's catalog.

The group's emotional songwriting and melodic guitar sound have helped its music connect with generations of listeners. “Iris,” famously featured in City of Angels, remains a signature song and a defining singalong moment at live shows. The supplied tour information describes an energetic, guitar-forward performance, though the event's exact setlist and running order have not been announced. For this date, the listed lineup includes Def Leppard and The Struts; no individual set times are provided.

Venue and Seating Information

The United Center is a major Chicago arena on the city's Near West Side and home to the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks. Its seating is arranged across three levels: the 100 Level lower bowl, the 200 Level club level and the 300 Level upper deck. Concert floor arrangements can vary by event, so check the event seating map when selecting tickets.

For a closer view of the stage, lower-bowl seats near the center-facing sections are often a strong choice, depending on the concert's stage placement. The 200 Level offers a mid-level perspective and premium amenities, while mid-range 300 Level seats can provide a broad view of the arena. Upper-level corner and extreme-end seats may feel more distant. Accessible seating is available throughout the venue.

Prices currently start around $120 for this major arena concert, with some tickets potentially exceeding $500 depending on availability, seat location and demand. Prices can change.
